First Day of Classes on the Hickory Campus, includes remarks by Chancellor Sheri Everts, Mayor Hank Guess and Ashlynn Caudill, who is representing the inaugural class of the Hickory Campus. Caudill will present a bell to Chancellor Everts. This event includes the official bell ringing and ribbon cutting. 9:30 a.m. Classes begin on the Hickory Campus11 a.m. Food trucks arrive, so join us for lunch or an afternoon snack. Food trucks are free and open to the public.
Transfer Admissions and Engagement will have a tent set up on Sanford Mall to provide a friendly face to those who want to stop by. We will also be giving out a treat!
